PTO spring candy sale will end on Friday February 24. Help fund the purchase of the last 6 smart boards for our school.

Re-Enrollment for 2012-2013
Please note that re-enrollment information was sent home with lower school students on Friday and mailed for upper school students.  If you have children in lower and upper school, your re-enrollment information was sent home with your lower school student.

To receive the early bird discount, please send forms in by March 12.   

We look forward to having your family at Pinewood next year.

Kids Art Fair coming soon
March 1st from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the Eidson Gym. 
Sixth graders that had Mrs. Wehman first or second rotation please return your RSVP forms into Mrs. Wehman asap.  Lower school student please turn your forms into your homeroom teachers.    

Orders for Pi Wood t-shirts will be taken from February 6-22, 2012.  The shirts will be light blue in color with dark blue writing and cost $10.  You can place your orders with Ms. Hritz, Mrs. Enslin or the office.  Students are encouraged to wear these shirts for pi day on March 14.

Upper School (6 - 12)

We hope that you enjoyed the Presidents' Day Holiday!
Tomorrow (Wednesday February 22nd) will not be a dress day.

Get in the “Game” and “Stop” and clip those Box Tops!
Attention: 6th – 12th Graders:
You could be eligible to win a gift certificate to GameStop!  Enter your name into a drawing for a chance to win a $25 giftcard by placing 10 Box Tops or 10 Campbell’s Labels for Education in a Ziploc bag with your name and grade written on it.  Place each entry into one of the collection bins by March 16, 2012.

• Box tops must be cleanly clipped and date checked (unexpired only)
• The expiration date must be visible
• Campbell’s entries can include UPC labels or caps from participating products.

Middle School (6-8)

Middle School SGA – Members need to meet in Liberty Garden at the beginning of lunch on Friday, Feb. 24, for yearbook photo.  Thanks – Mrs. Martin

The next First Priority meeting will be on Tuesday, February 28th in Mrs.Radebaugh’s room.
We will meet between 7:10 and 7:40 before school.

High School (9-12)

HS SGA will take pictures for yearbook at the beginning of lunch in the courtyard Wed., Feb. 29th.

Seniors…please remember that Thursday and Friday the senior lot will be reserved for Lower School Grandparents. Please park in the gravel lot on Willow Oaks. Please plan to get here early so that you have ample time to check in with homeroom teachers and get to first period on time. Thanks for your help with this.

International Club will meet at lunch beginning in March.  Please pick up your t-shirt from Mrs. Bailey’s office.

The Summerville Family YMCA is looking for volunteers for the Flowertown Run
When:  Saturday, March 10th from 6:30am-9:00am
Where: Summerville Family YMCA
What:  Assisting on the course, directing and encouraging runners and handing out water

Please see the Community Service Bulletin Board (outside of Mrs. Lewis’ room) or Nicole Bailey to sign up for the following community service opportunities:

Saturday, March 17th – help in concessions stand in the Pinewood Gym; 7:30am-11:30am, you choose your shift

Saturday, April 21st – we will need volunteers to help plan and work the 5K road race

Monday March 5th - We have a College Trip planned for to Clemson and Erskine.  The bus will leave at 7:30am from Freedom Hall returning about 10pm.  Permission slips and payments are due by March 1st to Ms. Gregory in the front office.
